NCI is happy to announce that we are organising a special programme in the area of Sustainability in cooperation with the Echo Network, ATV, and Innovation Centre Denmark Bangalore. The programme is called the SAGE (Sustainability Ambassadors Global Exchange) Programme. This is a short term programme for Indian and Nordic post graduate students (master's degree students and above) from social, natural, physical, and engineering sciences starting in June 2023. At the end of the STEP, a Network Summit will be held in Bengaluru in August 2023, where students meet fellow ambassadors and network members, present their work, and plan long-term projects together based on the outcomes of the previous weeks of work done virtually.
The aim of the programme is to be an immersive and interactive programme to understand cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary research surrounding current on-ground issues facing India. The programme consists of lectures, field trips, stakeholder and community interactions, and networking events - both online and in India.
The costs for the course including the stay in Bangalore ie course fee, boarding, lodging, and local travel related to the programme are being covered by a grant and there are some travel scholarships also available.
More information about the programme can be found at Sustainability Ambassadors Global Exchange (SAGE) Program. Please find attached the poster for the programme.
Students are requested to show an initial expression of interest by the 3rd of March 2023. They can sign up at www.echonetwork.pub/SAGESA and can contact NCI Director, Christabel Royan, at contact@nordiccentreindia.com for more information.
