We are so glad to announce that NCI's first teacher training practice placement has successfully concluded. The students from #NCImember unviersities Linköping University and University of Jyväskylä learnt a lot about the landscape of teaching in India and about India itself in their time spent here. This programme is anchored at St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkataand The Heritage School, Kolkata. Students are mentored and introduced to the Indian landscape of education at St. Xavier's and they then spend time assisting teachers at the Heritage School.

Grateful to Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio, S.J. , Charlotte Simpson-Veigas Professor Panchali Sen, Professor Swati Sarkar, and the team at the Department of Education and the International Office for the work they put in to get this partnership going.
