The event promises an immersive and interactive programme for invited participants to understand cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary research surrounding the digitalization of society and governance and the challenges and opportunities connected to the rise of AI and machine learning, creating opportunities for discussions around future funding, collaborations and institutional partnerships between India and Norway. The programme consists of roundtablesand networking, seeking to consolidate established partnerships and collaborations, and develop new acquaintances and venues for future funding for R&D and innovation. The Network Summit on AI is organized by the Nordic Centre in India in collaboration with OsloMet -Oslo Metropolitan University and the Algorithmic Governance Research Network and is supported by The Research Council of Norway. While building on existing networks and collaborations, the aim is to establish new partnerships and synergies for future projects. The Norwegian Research Council offers strategic support for collaborations and networking with India and is investing in R&D related to AI.
