The #ncimember university students as part of the #NCIPracticePlacementProgramme spent the first week of the programme having an orientation programme at St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata. They spent the first week being introduced to India , its system of pedagogy and teaching while also meeting their peers and teacher educators at the Department of Education at St. Xavier's College. They also got a chance to visit some schools in the neighbourhood and discover the city of #Kolkata
