Dr. Knut Aukland from NCI member university Oslo Metropolitan University presented 'Religious education and democracy: European attempts to battle communalisation through teaching about religions' to around 200 students of the Department of Education at St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata. Many thanks to Vice Principal, Dr. Charlotte Simpson-Veigas, who organised the same. The lecture was followed by a discussion about steps forward in collaboration between NCI, OsloMet and St. Xavier's College.
