Associate Professor of Biostatistics (Fixed-Term, 6 Years)
Job description
The Associate Professor must participate in the research environments both at the Section of Biostatistics (including the Pioneer Centre for SMARTbiomed) and the Copenhagen Health Complexity Center. The candidate must contribute to bridging these units through interdisciplinary collaborations and joint supervision of PhD students/postdocs. We are looking for a candidate who will advance our joint research theme on causal discovery, both in terms of methodological, translational and applied epidemiological research. Experience with working with data from Danish registers and from Danish cohort studies is an advantage.

In addition to this, the successful candidate is expected to work on attracting research funding and participate in the various administrative tasks of the Section of Biostatistics and the Copenhagen Health Complexity Center. As our teaching portfolio includes a large volume of courses in applied statistics for health scientists, experience with this type of cross-disciplinary teaching will be an advantage.
