Tampere University Seminar on 'Transnationalism and Societal Transformation in India'

NCI had a strong participation in Tampere University's seminar on "Transnationalism and societal transformation in India" that was organized by by TRANSIT in collaboration with the Global Innovation Network for Teaching and Learning (GINTL – India) and the Faculty of Education and Culture of Tampere University on Friday, October 14th. The event was aimed at researchers interested in transnational and societal transformative processes in India and the Global South.

Chairperson NCI, Mikko Ruohonen, Professor of information systems and business, Faculty of Management and Business, Tampere University, Finland along with Gururaj Mahajan, Local Research Coordinator in India, Tampere University, Finland and Katriina Vartiainen, University Instructor and Doctoral Researcher, Faculty of Management and Business, Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences, Tampere University, Finland presented on the topic Developing Teaching and Learning Innovations; a case study and the development programme of Indo-Finnish collaboration´ 

while Director NCI, Christabel Royan spoke about ´The role of the Nordic Center in India in supporting scholars working in India.´
